Hi I am glad to join all the Kulkas as a blogger. I live in Arizona now which is a mixed blessing. The good thing is I am close to my son Mark the bad thing ids the heat. But I am getting used to it. David I read your piece about Leo. He never went to engineering school in Europe. Leo was a great guy but hardly the student of the year. That is about all I can tell you right now.Keep on rocking. Hello, Licy,
Good to hear from you! I liked your comment about Leo. He was a wonderful character, taking his own path through the world he lived in.
At my age, when you say "keep on rocking" I figure you mean in a chair.
Hi Licy, Welcome!
When we set this thing up, part of the intention was to capture family stories. Many years ago my family got to have dinner with you and then spend the evening at your place. We all agreed you're a great story teller. I remember you told us about how you and Sam met, a little bit about your early life together and some about your family in Czechoslovakia.
Got any good stories about growing up in the old country, or first impressions on arriving in a new one?
From the edge of my seat,
- Nephew Matt
