1) I am a serious author now. 2) I will not have time for any chores until December

A gathering place for Kulkas and those who were once Kulkas but due to unfortunate circumstances have had to accept life's curve ball and begin going by some other name.

WORD.
Now, I just need to convince myself I can get 50,000 words out of my plotline. Oh, and an ending.
Ending shmending. Stephen King seldom bothers with that and look how successful he is.
Well, it turns out I'm not a serious author now. Unfortunately, I have a life, and it doesn't leave much time for writing. I got about 7500 words done. What I wrote was mildly entertaining, but it's gimmicky and not very clever. I think I'm tired of all of the "episodes" my main character goes through, my few supporting characters are thin as paper and I have no idea how to set up a good pace, like how to transition from setup to main story. I'd take a class or study online, but that would take even more time -- which I didn't have enough of in the first place.
What an unexceptional performance.
If at first you don't succeed...maybe a short thumbnail sketch?
